Nick Saban and Jim Harbaugh at the same camp?
It could happen next week, as Alabama and Michigan are joining forces for a satellite camp. Satellite camps have gotten way too many headlines this year. Fans aren’t interested in the news.
However, Saban and Harbaugh perk the interest somewhat because of their recent back-and-forth prompted by — you guessed it — satellite camps. St. Frances High School football coach Henry Russell broke the news on Twitter:
Excited to announce #Bama staff members will be attending our #Michigan #SwarmTour Camp in #Bmore this Monday UTZ Field #GoBlue #RollTide
— Henry Russell (@CoachHRussell) June 3, 2016
While campers will be present, we want a WWE-style ring on the 50-yard line and intro music for each coach, assuming both make it.
Presumably, we don’t expect Harbaugh to back down, so why would he not create more headlines at a camp with Alabama staffers? Saban, on the other hand, may have bigger fish to fry.
All of a sudden uninteresting satellite camps have somewhat of an interest.
