Alabama outfielder Andrew Pinckney pulled off a highlight catch that confused just about everybody.
In the top of the ninth of Alabama’s Wednesday win over Troy, Pinckney showed some incredible concentration to complete a home run-robbing catch. Pinckney climbed the wall and the ball bounced off of his glove. He stayed focused and caught the ball on the landing before it hit the ground, recording the out. The umpires originally called it a double with the Troy batter assuming he had hit a home run. The SEC Network+ broadcast joked that Pinckney did not do the best job of selling his impressive catch.
