When the Alabama Crimson Tide take the field for Saturday’s season opener against Florida State, P JK Scott will do so wearing a different jersey number.
In an effort to avoid confusion with DB Ronnie Harrison on special teams, Scott will change give up his customary No. 15 jersey.
Instead, the senior punter, who was a first-team All-SEC honoree last season, will sport the No. 10 jersey this fall:
#Alabama sr. P JK Scott has changed numbers to No. 10 from 15 so as to not to be confused with jr. DB Ronnie Harrison on special teams.

Scott has turned into one of the best punters in college football and has his sights set on even more awards this season.
As he attempts to put a solid cap on his Alabama career, though, he’ll do so in an unfamiliar number.
Still, when the Crimson Tide take on the Seminoles on Saturday, Sept. 2, in Atlanta, it won’t be hard to spot the talented punter, who should have no problems launching long punts in the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
