Alabama has had some staff turnover this offseason, and it appears that will continue.

Per a report from Josh Pate on Monday, a key member of Nick Saban’s staff is heading to the NFL ranks.

As you can see below, Pate tweeted on Monday that he’s heard Alabama Director of Sports Science Matt Rhea is expected to take a job with the New Orleans Saints:

Pate added that Director of Sports Performance David Ballou is expected to return to Alabama for the 2022 season.

Rhea came to Alabama in 2020. He has previous experience at Indiana and at IMG Academy. We’ll see who the Tide find to replace Rhea if the move to the Saints becomes official.
