Alabama is reportedly losing a tight end to the transfer portal.

Elijah Brown, a member of the 2022 recruiting class, will look at continuing his college football career elsewhere.

Brown, out of Wayne High School, is from Dayton, Ohio. He was rated 4-stars, the No. 12 Ohio recruit, No. 13 tight end and No. 299 prospect overall nationally in the 2022 recruiting class on the 247Sports Composite. Brown picked up scholarship offers from Alabama and 18 other schools, including Auburn, Kentucky and LSU, during his recruitment.

Brown did not record any playing time with the Crimson Tide in 2022, taking a redshirt for his freshman season. The transfer portal opened for undergraduate entry over the weekend.

Alabama will hold its annual A-Day spring game on Saturday at 2 p.m. CT/3 p.m. ET, streaming on ESPN+ and SEC Network+.
