Saturday night felt like a marathon for Alabama fans.

The Crimson Tide entered as five-touchdown favorites over struggling Tennessee, and its best player, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, was injured midway through the second quarter. Alabama announced that Tagovailoa had surgery early Sunday morning for his ankle injury.

Mac Jones replaced Tagovailoa, and the passing game just wasn’t the same. However, it didn’t need to be, as running back Najee Harris and the Tide’s defense stepped up in Tagovailoa’s absence.

Comedian Jermaine “FunnyMaine” Johnson was every Alabama fan when Tagovailoa was injured. This week, he recapped how Alabama fans watched the Third Saturday in October, as Alabama defeated Tennessee 35-13.

Our favorite part this week? “Who is this punter shaped like a linebacker,” Johnson asked about Alabama’s walk-on punter Ty Perine.
