Ameer Speed has been a reserve defensive back for the Georgia Bulldogs the past few years, but after the team won the national championship last week, he entered the transfer portal.

On Tuesday, he took to Twitter to reveal he had chosen a transfer destination.

As you can see below, he tweeted that he was heading to East Lansing to play for the Michigan State Spartans in 2022:

Speed appeared in 7 games for the Dawgs in 2021, recording 13 tackles. In his 5 years in Georgia, he recorded 25 tackles and 1 pass breakup.

We’ll see if he can work his way into more playing time under former Georgia DC Mel Tucker, who is now the head coach at Michigan State.
