Amier Ali, elite 2024 SF out of IMG Academy, includes 4 SEC programs in top 8 list

Amier Ali is a 4-star small forward and one of the best hoops prospects in the 2024 recruiting class. On Monday, he updated his recruitment with a list of his top 8 programs he is considering.
Out of the SEC, Ali included Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky and SEC-bound Texas. Arizona State, Florida State, Ohio State and Michigan round out the rest of Ali’s list.

Listed at 6-foot-8 and 175 pounds, Ali generated a host of Power 5 offers before cutting down his list. He’s rated as a 4-star recruit and the 28th overall recruit in the country by the 247 Sports Composite. The system also rates Ali as the No. 8 SF nationally for the class of 2024.
Per his 247 Sports page, Ali has visited Florida State and has an official visit scheduled for Ohio State in May. We’ll see how the rest of his recruitment shapes up through the summer and fall.
