Bass plays quarterback for Heritage Hall, but is considered a multi-position prospect. He is rated 3-stars, the No. 17 recruit in the state of Oklahoma, No. 158 ATH and No. 1,459 prospect overall in the Class of 2024 on the 247Sports Composite.
Though Bass had scholarship offers, Collin Kennedy of 247Sports reports that the new Sooners pledge will likely be a walk-on member of Brent Venables’ squad, potentially seeing time at multiple spots on the field.
“He’s a scholarship-caliber prospect who’s prepared to take preferred walk-on spot in Norman, but his time with Oklahoma football will be taken care of completely through NIL,” Kennedy writes.
Bass comes from an OU family, and could not turn down an opportunity to wear Crimson and Cream in college.
