Anthony Edwards has made his decision — he’s leaving Georgia after one season and has declared for the 2020 NBA Draft.

The 6-5, 225-pound Atlanta native averaged just over 19 points per game with 5.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists for the Bulldogs last season for the 13-13 team.

Edwards, believed by many to be in the running to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, was rated as a 5-star prospect and the No. 2 overall recruit in the nation in the 2019 college basketball recruiting cycle.

The upcoming NBA Draft lottery is set to be held Tuesday, May 19, when Edwards may learn where he’ll begin his career in the NBA.
