Egg Bowl recruiting battle: 4-star Mississippi receiver Antonio Harmon announces his commitment
Lane Kiffin’s Ole Miss program may be making more headlines heading into the Early Signing Period but Mike Leach’s Mississippi State program continues to work hard and grind out a really good recruiting class in Starkville.
The latest addition to the new Hail State class comes from Kosciusko, Miss., native Antonio Harmon, who announced his pledge to Mississippi State over Ole Miss, Georgia and LSU.
Harmon, 6-foot-4, 205-pound defensive back prospect, is rated as a four-star recruit, the No. 49 overall receiver in the nation and a top five recruit from Mississippi in the 2021 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings.
His commitment to Mississippi State gives the Bulldogs its fifth four-star recruit in the 2021 class, with four of those prospects having already signed with the program — which includes Harmon.
