Arch Manning had quite the bounce-back performance in Week 2, leading Texas to a lopsided 38-7 victory over San Jose State, but some fans are concerned about something they noticed during Saturday’s game.
A video posted to social media focuses on a sequence in which Manning appears to grimace during a 2nd-quarter passing attempt.

Manning, though, must not have felt too much discomfort as he continued to play into the 4th quarter of the game. Manning, in the third year of his college football career and first as the starter, was 19-of-30 for 295 yards, 4 touchdowns and 1 interception. He also rushed 4 times for 23 yards and 1 score.
Texas is just under a month out from beginning SEC play on Oct. 4, with two more Group of 5 opponents and a bye week ahead for the Longhorns. Steve Sarkisian’s team next hosts UTEP followed by Sam Houston in Weeks 3 and 4.
The Longhorns will open SEC play at Florida on Oct. 4 (Week 6). UF is currently 1-1 after a Week 2 home loss to USF, 18-16.
