Entering his second season in the NFL, Ardarius Stewart appears poised to miss a few games for the Jets.
The former Alabama receiver is facing a two-game suspension from the NFL for violating the league’s Policy on Performance-Enhancing Substances, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport. Rapoport reportedly the news on Friday morning.
There is no information on what Stewart is alleged to have taken at this time or if he plans to accept or appeal the decision.
In his rookie season for the Jets, Stewart caught six passes for 82 yards. During his Alabama career, he caught 129 passes for 1,713 yards and 12 touchdowns.

UPDATE: The Jets have confirmed Stewart has been suspended without pay for the first two games of the season.
