LSU received some good news regarding its star LB on Monday.

Arden Key has officially been cleared to play in LSU’s game against Mississippi State Saturday night. Head coach Ed Orgeron made the announcement during his Monday press conference.

LSU fans are certainly excited to have Key back in time for SEC play. The Tigers defense has allowed just one touchdown so far in 2017, but the task becomes a lot harder this week with MSU and QB Nick Fitzgerald. The addition of Key, who posted an LSU single-season record 12 sacks last season, will be a boost for the Tigers as they play on the road.

Key shared a highlight tape on his Twitter account Monday to announce his return. (Video contains NSFW language.)
