Are you not entertained? Popular AP Top 25 voter ranks Arkansas
By SDS Staff

Arkansas is the biggest surprise of the SEC season so far. When the SEC announced a 10-game conference-only schedule, most everyone expected a rough-go for a program on a 20-game conference losing streak playing for a new coaching staff during a pandemic. Sam Pittman’s Razorbacks, however, are off to a 2-2 start (almost 3-1) after Saturday’s impressive win over Lane Kiffin’s Ole Miss Rebels.
One of the most prominent college football media members is now including the Hogs on his ballot for the AP Top 25. Stadium’s Brett McMurphy shared Sunday that he has Arkansas at No. 22 on his ballot.
While McMurphy’s ballot says a lot about what Pittman is doing in Year 1, Arkansas fans probably shouldn’t expect the Razorbacks to show up in Sunday’s AP Top 25. McMurphy notes he is only ranking teams that have played so far. The AP is allowing voters to include teams from the Big Ten and Pac-12, such as Ohio State, Penn State and Oregon, in the Top 25.
But again, who thought we would even be talking about ranking the Hogs in October of 2020?
