Arkansas is gearing up to host No. 4 Tennessee on Saturday. The Razorbacks have special instructions for the home fans with the Volunteers coming to Fayetteville.

Hog fans are being asked to stripe out Razorback Stadium.

Arkansas and Tennessee have faced each other 19 times, with Tennessee holding a 13-6 lead in the series. The Vols dominated the series when the programs met annually from 1992 to 2002, losing only twice to the Hogs. Arkansas, however, has won 4 of the last 5 meetings with the Vols from 2006 to 2020. The teams last met in 2020 in Fayetteville, a 24-13 win for the Razorbacks.

Sam Pittman’s squad has had an up-and-down 2024, entering the Week 6 conference clash at 3-2 overall. Arkansas turned some heads in a Week 2 upset bid that fell short on the road at Oklahoma State. The Razorbacks picked up a conference win at Auburn in Week 4, but dropped the Southwest Classic in Arlington to Texas A&M in Week 5. The Hogs have nonconference wins over Arkansas-Pine Bluff and UAB.

Tennessee has generated College Football Playoff buzz with its hot start to the 2024 campaign. The Vols went to Charlotte in Week 2 to thump a then-ranked NC State team 51-10 in the Duke’s Mayo Classic. UT played at Oklahoma for its SEC opener in Week 4, and came away with a 25-15 win over a ranked Sooner squad. Tennessee, which also has blowout wins over Chattanooga and Ken State, was off in Week 5.

Saturday’s game is set for a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff, airing on ABC.
