Arkansas defensive back Kani Walker left the field on a stretcher on Saturday night in Oxford.

Walker suffered an apparent upper-body injury early in the fourth quarter against Ole Miss. It came at the end of a 35-yard completion for the Rebels.

Walker was tended to by medical personnel for several minutes on the field before being put on a stretcher.

Not many other details about Walker’s condition are known at this time. He was able to give a ‘thumbs up’ to fans on his way out of the stadium:

Walker spent the previous 3 seasons of his college career at Oklahoma where he was a regular contributor. He left the Sooners following the 2024 season and has become an important part of the Arkansas defense in 2025 — his redshirt senior season.

Walker made 6 total tackles and was credited with 1 pass breakup before leaving the field.

Coming into this game, Walker had accounted for 7 tackles, 1 tackle for loss and 3 pass deflections so far in 2025.
