Arkansas starting defender arrested on DWI charge, per report

Arkansas standout defender Tre Williams was arrested for DWI, according a report by Matt Zenitz of On3.

The On3 report states Williams was arrested early Sunday morning. No further details are being reported at this time.
A transfer from Missouri, Williams recorded 28 total tackles, including 6.5 for loss and a team-leading 6 sacks. Williams had 2 tackles against his former team in Arkansas’ Battle Line Rivalry win to end the 2021 regular season.
Arkansas faces Penn State in the Outback Bowl on Jan. 1.
