The Auburn Tigers parted ways with third-year head coach Hugh Freeze over the weekend following the team’s embarrassing loss to the Kentucky Wildcats, and now the interim staff has been tasked with keeping the Tigers’ current recruiting class intact with a little over a month until early signing day.

5-star safety commit Bralan Womack will be one of the top priorities for interim-head coach DJ Durkin over these next few weeks, but keeping him locked in with Auburn won’t be an easy task.

Womack will have several other top programs pushing for a flip, and the Texas A&M Aggies could be the biggest threat in this regard, with Rivals/On3 recruiting expert Steve Wiltfong reporting Monday morning that Womack has an official visit lined up with the Aggies.

Per Wiltfong, Womack is set to take his official visit with the Aggies on November 15th when the South Carolina Gamecocks come to town, and head coach Mike Elko and his staff are likely to make a very heavy push at flipping the blue-chip safety.

A Mississippi native, Womack currently ranks as the second-best safety commit in the 2026 cycle and the 19th-best player overall in the nation per 247Sports Composite rankings, and he has been committed to Auburn since Aug. 21.
