What the Tigers get in Lambert-Smith
Lambert-Smith brings veteran production to Auburn’s wide receiver room. He played 9 games as a true freshman in 2020. The season does not count against his eligibility due to COVID-19, allowing him to be a fifth-year “super senior” with the Tigers in 2024.
Last season, Lambert-Smith was the leading pass-catcher for a Penn State squad that won 10 games and went to a New Year’s Six bowl. The 2023 season was the most productive of his career.

Lambert-Smith logged 53 receptions for 673 yards and 4 touchdowns last season, career-highs in catches and yardage. Auburn did not have a pass-catcher top 400 yards in 2023. Tight end Rivaldo Fairweather had 38 catches for 394 yards. Ja’Varrius Johnson led AU wideouts with 19 catches for 347 yards.
Lambert-Smith started particularly hot with 4 catches for 123 yards in Penn State’s season-opening win over West Virginia. Things were a bit up-and-down for Lambert-Smith in 2023. He came up just shy of 100 yards two more times, going for 96 and 95 yards in back-to-back contests against Indiana and Maryland.
After the Maryland game, however, Lambert-Smith finished 2023 on a cold streak. He had 6 receiving yards against Michigan and 22 against Michigan State, but put goose eggs against Rutgers and Ole Miss.
Over his career, Lambert-Smith has 126 catches for 1,721 yards and 11 touchdowns.
