Auburn fans voice frustrations with struggling offense after AU falls to LSU

Auburn’s defense showed up on Saturday in Baton Rouge, holding the high-powered LSU offense to just 23 points. Those 23 points proved to be enough for the Bayou Bengals, as AU could only come up with 20 points. From the fan perspective, it felt like Auburn’s inability to take advantage of opportunities on offense was the deciding factor in the outcome.

Auburn finished with 287 yards of offense (157 passing, 130 rushing).

Gus Malzahn’s squad managed a fourth-quarter touchdown drive to cut it to 23-20 LSU, but for most fans, it wasn’t enough to forget their frustrations from earlier offensive struggles.
