Jahki Howard announced Wednesday afternoon that he has committed to Bruce Pearl and Auburn basketball to continue his athletic career.

The 4-star small forward out of Overtime Elite in Atlanta, Georgia chose the Tigers over Arkansas, Arizona State and Georgia Tech.

Howard is originally from Norcross, Georgia and is one of the top players out of the state. He’s considered by 247Sports’ composite rankings to be the No. 76 overall prospect in the Class of 2024, as well as the No. 19 SF and No. 8 player out of Georgia.

Howard joins an already budding Auburn hoops class for 2024. The Tigers earned a commitment from 4-star PG Tashaad Pettiford all the way back in February.

The Tigers opened their 2023 season last night with a close loss to No. 20 Baylor. The Tigers led the Bears until the final minutes in what was a thrilling opening-night matchup.
