Auburn reportedly hiring former Dallas Cowboys staffer in GM, scouting role

A former NFL staffer is reportedly headed to The Plains to work for Auburn football.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Drew Fabianich, a long-time national scout for the Dallas Cowboys, will be Auburn’s new General Manager and Director of Football Scouting and Development. Rapoport notes that Fabianich chose to join Bryan Harsin’s staff over multiple NFL opportunities.

Fabianich joined the Cowboys in 2004. He was with the club as its National Scout through the 2022 NFL Draft. The Cowboys shuffled their scouting department in May, parting ways with Fabianich.
