On the same day Auburn added a defensive back from the transfer portal, the Tigers could be losing a member of the secondary to the portal.

Multiple outlets are reporting that senior cornerback Mario Domio has entered his name into the portal. Entering the transfer portal does not bind a player to leave the program, though cases in which players withdraw from the portal are becoming increasingly rare in the SEC.

Domio signed in AU’s 2020 class as a JUCO transfer from Blinn College. The Houston native was rated 4-stars on the 247Sports Composite JUCO and had 19 scholarship offers. He also took official visits to Kentucky and LSU before committing to Auburn on July 1, 2020.

During the 2020 season, Domio appeared in four games, recording 8 tackles.
