Barry Odom talks South Carolina loss: ‘We didn’t play a clean enough game to win it’

Missouri had a chance to earn its first truly meaningful game of the Barry Odom era Saturday night at home against South Carolina but came up well short of that goal in a 31-13 loss. The Tigers are now 0-1 in SEC play for the second consecutive season.

The game was tight in the first half of play but the drop ball issues from last season reared their ugly head and Mizzou just couldn’t stop dynamic South Carolina receiver Deebo Samuel.

Adding injury to insult, the Tigers’ starting running back Damarea Crockett was hurt in the game.
