Stidham saw action as a true freshman last season, throwing for 1,265 yards, 12 touchdowns and two interceptions for the 10-3 Bears. He’s a big-time talent with a big future. He won’t be eligible to play again until 2017, but teams are surely knocking on his door.
He transferred from Baylor after Art Briles was let go, part of the fallout from the Baylor sexual assault scandal.
He released the following on Twitter about his decision.
