Big start to Big Cat: Auburn lands pair of 4-star commitments for 2024 class

Big Cat is off to a big start on The Plains. Bryan Harsin’s staff has already picked up a pair of 4-star commitments for Auburn’s 2024 recruiting class.

Lane is currently listed at 5-11, 180 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, he is rated 4-stars, the No. 11 Alabama recruit, No. 26 cornerback and No. 221 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2024. He has 12 scholarship offers, including Arkansas, LSU, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Shortly after Lane’s commitment, Harsin’s program landed another 2024 commitment. Four-star quarterback Adrian Posse verbally pledged to the class. Posse, listed at 6-4, 205 pounds, transferred from Opa Locka Monsignor Pace to Miami Columbus ahead of his junior season.
Posse is rated the No. 13 quarterback, No. 34 Florida recruit and No. 184 prospect overall in 2024 on the 247Sports Composite. He already had scholarship offers from 15 schools, including Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, LSU and Texas A&M.
