The Big Ten is trying to build momentum for the season behind Ohio State as a potential national championship pick, and Michigan coming off a memorable season last year.

But Rutgers is pulling out all the stops to drum up support for Greg Schiano’s program, and that includes selling season tickets at Costco. The Scarlet Knights tickets are not only for sale, they are at a 38 percent savings for a pair of lower level sideline tickets. This may be a story to circle back on, and see if Rutgers has success with this creative sales model.

Rutgers is coming off a 5-8 season and a loss in the Gator Bowl to Wake Forest.

Like many teams around the country, Rutgers opened fall camp this week, and Schiano shared his thoughts with the media.

“I’m not trying to pre-judge us,” Schiano said, per NJ.com. “I know we have a lot of young, talented players in our program that have bought into our culture. If we can keep from making some mistakes, maybe we have some special moments. If we don’t, we’ll learn from it. This team is right in a good spot. How we develop our younger players that’s going to be the key for this season.”
