Oklahoma and BYU have been locked in a tight game in Provo. The Cougars are looking for an upset win to become bowl-eligible while handing the Sooners a 3rd loss of the season. Meanwhile, Oklahoma is looking to keep its Big 12 Championship Game hopes — and chances at a New Year’s 6 bowl — alive.
BYU, with just over 6 minutes remaining in the 3rd quarter, had a 1st-and-goal from the Oklahoma 3. But Cougars quarterback Jake Retzlaff’s pass was intercepted near the goal line by Billy Bowman Jr., who took it 100 yards the other way for a touchdown.

As mentioned by Oklahoma’s social media team, this is the 3rd inteception for a touchdown of 100 yards in program history. The most recent came in 2014 as Julian Wilson took one to the house against Tennessee. Al Needs, in 1945, has the 3rd.
Oklahoma holds a 31-24 lead over BYU with less than 5 minutes to go in the contest. The game can be seen regionally on ABC or ESPN.
