Based on a recent exchange current Oklahoma City Thunder head coach and former Florida coach Billy Donovan had with the media, winning isn’t the only thing that validates his life.
While discussing Tom Izzo and his pursuit of a second national championship at Michigan State, Donovan offered up a retrospective that Izzo will likely find comfort in following his team’s loss to Texas Tech in the Final Four Saturday night.
Some Spartan fans, or Auburn fans for that matter, may currently view the loss as the end of the world but according to Donovan, he can’t look at it that way as he lives out his coaching career.
