Boateng began his college football career at Clemson in 2019. After 5 appearances for the Tigers in 2 seasons, he transferred to Florida in the summer of 2021 as a walk-on. Boateng’s Florida bio says he did not play during the 2021 season. Per On3 Sports, Boateng remained with the team during spring practices and fall camp in 2022, but was not with the Gators during the season.
