Billy Napier struggles to open water bottle following Florida’s loss to Miami

Billy Napier had a rough go of it on Saturday.
Napier has yet to lead Florida to a winning season since taking the reins at Florida after the firing of Dan Mullen. After a 6-7 mark in 2022 and a bowl appearance, they slipped to 5-7 in 2023 thanks to a season-ending 5-game losing streak.
Season 3 for Napier started with a dud as well, and not just any dud: the Gators were manhandled by in-state rival Miami 41-17 at the Swamp as his already hot seat grew even hotter. (That’s not to mention Mullen reposting a post on X from ESPN colleague Matt Barrie pointing out that Mullen didn’t survive his 4th season despite 3 straight New Year’s 6 appearances.)
As if that wasn’t bad enough, watch as Napier struggled to open a sealed water bottle during his postgame press conference:

Things can’t get any worse for Napier and the Gators right now. They’ll at least face FCS Samford in Week 2, but if his 3rd season turns out to be another disappointing one, he won’t last much longer in Gainesville, $26 million buyout or not.
