Bleacher Report analyst Matt Miller’s latest Round 1 2021 NFL Mock Draft features 11 SEC standouts

The 2021 NFL Draft is still a few months away, but with the 2020 NFL season starting on Thursday night, there are some new mock drafts being released.

This week, Bleacher Report expert Matt Miller updated his Round 1 projections, and he had 11 SEC players going in the first 32 picks.

As you can see below, he has an impressive 7 Alabama players among the 11 SEC first-round standouts:

  • No. 5 — Ja’Marr Chase, WR, LSU — New York Jets
  • No. 9 — Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama — Detroit Lions
  • No. 10 — DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama — Miami Dolphins
  • No. 14 — Alex Leatherwood, OL, Alabama — Los Angeles Chargers
  • No. 16 — Patrick Surtain II, CB, Alabama — Cleveland Browns
  • No. 20 — Najee Harris, RB, Alabama — Pittsburgh Steelers
  • No. 21 — Jordan Davis, DL, Georgia — Minnesota Vikings
  • No. 22 — Dylan Moses, LB, Alabama — Buffalo Bills
  • No. 24 — Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina — New York Jets
  • No. 26 — Trey Smith, OL, Tennessee — New England Patriots
  • No. 30 — Christian Barmore, DL, Alabama — Baltimore Ravens
