Football can be a brutal sport, even if you aren’t playing in the actual game on the field.
We’ve seen reporters, coaches, officials and others go down with injuries after plays on the field have spilled over onto the sidelines.
During Saturday’s Texas A&M-Auburn game, a member of the officiating crew was bowled over by Auburn QB Bo Nix after getting shoved out of bounds:

Plenty of folks think Nix could have pulled up a bit. Others chastised him for not checking on the man, who was down on the sidelines for a while.
Per an update from the CBS crew, though, he was up and moving around shortly after the incident. No word on how serious the injury was.
