Bobby Petrino has been the interim coach for Arkansas since the school fired coach Sam Pittman early in the season. The team lost its first three games with Petrino as the coach, and things got even worse on Saturday as they were blown-out 52-37 by the Texas Longhorns.

It was competitive in the first half, as it was only a four-point game at the half. However, the Longhorns outscored the Razorbacks 21-3 in the third quarter to pull away for the win.

After the game, Petrino voiced his frustrations with the team, saying the “attitude” of some players didn’t meet his standard.

“For the first time I felt like there was a couple of guys on the team that’s attitude wasn’t where it needed to be,” Petrino said. “That’s not what we want.”

To put up 512 yards of offense against the Texas defense is an impressive feat. The Longhorns have been one of the best defenses in the country, with the 37 points allowed being the second most they have given up this year.

Arkansas is expected to hire a permanent head coach at some point in the coming weeks.
