Brady Cook and the Missouri Tigers are on the board for the first time in the 2023 season.
Cook and the Tigers played to a second straight 6-7 mark in 2022, finishing tied for 4th in the SEC Eastern Division (3-5) and losing the Gasparilla Bowl. That’s begging the question of what Mizzou’s ceiling is under Eli Drinkwitz.
On Thursday, against South Dakota, Cook led a touchdown drive to put the Tigers on the board first. They needed just 6 plays and just under 2-and-a-half minutes to score:

The Coyotes, from FCS, finished 3-8 last season, so this should be a tuneup game for the Tigers. They’ll have a little stiffer challenge against their first FBS foe of the season as they face Middle Tennessee State in Columbia.
As for this one, the Tigers have opened up a 13-0 lead with 5 minutes to go in the 1st quarter. The game is being televised on the SEC Network.
