Braxton Myers, a 4-star 2023 safety out of Texas, has 4 SEC schools in his top 12

Now that most schools have finalized their 2022 recruiting classes, the focus shifts in earnest to the 2023 cycle.
On Monday, one of the top safeties in the class — Braxton Myers out of Coppell, Texas — cut his list to 12 schools.
As you can see below, 4 SEC programs — Auburn, LSU, Arkansas and Ole Miss — are still in play for the talented 2023 safety.

Those 4 SEC programs will compete with USC, Texas, TCU, Notre Dame, Michigan, Cal, Clemson and Florida State for Myers’ services in 2023 and beyond.
Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Myers is the No. 6 safety in the class of 2023 and the No. 17 overall recruit from the state of Texas.
