Breiden Fehoko made a name for himself at LSU for being the guy who performed the popular Haka dance before games while walking into the stadium. He especially got the crowd fired up when his dad, or other family members, joined in.
Well, Fehoko has taken the dance with him to the NFL, and recently performed it on the HBO series “Hard Knocks” which this year showcases the Los Angeles Chargers.
A native of Honolulu, Hawaii, the Texas Tech transfer performed the intense war dance with his father at LSU. But previously his father, Vili, was “Vili the Warrior,” as an entertainer during the University of Hawaii football and men’s volleyball games.
Fehoko certainly doesn’t lack for motivation as evidenced by his tweet when he signed as an undrafted free agent with the Los Angeles Chargers.
The 6-foot-2, 291-pounder started 12 games in two seasons with the Tigers. He recorded 33 tackles, 9 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks.
Fehoko still needs to make the team, but if he keeps this up, he could be headed in that direction.
Undrafted free agent! Proving people wrong my whole life is what i was built for. @Chargers I’m coming for everything believe that. #BoltUp
