Arkansas upset a ranked team on the road for the second week in a row last Saturday, beating then-No. 9 LSU 31-14 in Baton Rouge, La.
The Razorbacks compiled 440 yards of total offense, and held LSU running back Leonard Fournette to 91 yards on 19 carries.
“Just a fun weekend to be a fan here in Arkansas,” Razorbacks head coach Bret Bielema said during his weekly press conference.
The Razorbacks are now 3-1 on the road in SEC play. They’ve beaten Ole Miss, Tennessee and now LSU on the road.
The team’s Offensive Players of the Week were wide receiver Dominique Reed and left tackle Dan Skipper.
Reed continues to impress Bielema. The junior wide receiver caught three passes for 83 yards and a touchdown in the Razorbacks’ win over LSU. Reed also had a key block on another touchdown. Reed was also the special teams MVP.
Bielema said the 6-foot-10, 330-pound Skipper graded out as high as a Razorbacks lineman can. Skipper was also named the SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week.
Deatrich Wise was Arkansas’ Defensive Player of the Week. The junior defensive lineman had six tackles, 2.5 sacks, 2.5 tackles for loss, two pass breakups and a quarterback hurry.
Linebacker Dre Greenlaw was named the SEC Freshman of the Week for the second time this season.
Bielema: I really think @DreGreenlaw can be the SEC Freshman of the Year. He’s been playing really well for us.

Bielema said the players were excited after back-to-back upset wins over ranked teams. But he added that the players have to stay grounded this week. “We’re a 6-4 team trying to get to 7-4, trying to take it one game at a time,” Bielema said. Arkansas (6-4) returns home to face Mississippi State (7-3) this week. The game will kick off at 7 p.m., and is being shown on ESPN. Bielema called Mississippi State “a really good football team that’s had some tough ones” recently.

Bielema is impressed with Bulldogs quarterback Dak Prescott, saying, “Their quarterback is an incredible player.” He went on to say, “You can see the kids live off his energy.” The Razorbacks’ coach believes either Prescott or Arkansas’ Brandon Allen is the best quarterback in the SEC.
Bielema: Dak Prescott is an incredible player. A tough, tough kid. They live off his energy and mental and physical stamina.

Bielema basically says what we all know: It’s Brandon Allen vs. Dak Prescott for first-team All-SEC. Bielema says it’s BA.

Arkansas’ coach is also impressed with Mississippi State’s wide receivers, saying the Bulldogs have a group of four or five receivers that could probably play for anybody. He added that tight end Gus Walley is also pretty good.
Defensive end Mitchell Loewen broke a bone against LSU and is out for the season.
Bielema started his press conference by sending his best wishes to Missouri coach Gary Pinkel. Last Friday, Pinkel announced he had Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and would be retiring at the end of the season. Arkansas faces Missouri on Nov. 28 in Fayetteville.
Bret Bielema opens presser with shout out to Gary Pinkel: Very honored to have him here next week. Man that I think the world of. — Thomas Murphy (@TomMurphyADG) November 16, 2015
