Brett Favre calls Joe Burrow best college QB, LSU best college team he’s ever seen

The LSU Tigers had a magical 2019 season, going 15-0 and winning the national title. QB Joe Burrow set the FBS touchdown record, tossing 60.
He also won the Heisman Trophy and is almost a lock to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
On Tuesday, NFL legend Brett Favre said he hasn’t seen a quarterback play better in college than Burrow did last year. He added that LSU is the best college team he’s ever seen (via TMZ Sports):
“I don’t know if I’ve ever seen any college player better than he played last year. In fact, [Burrow’s] team was incredible,” Favre said. “Best college team I’ve ever seen. And, the best play by a college quarterback in history.”
That’s high praise from the former Green Bay Packers star. We’ll see if Burrow can continue his outstanding play at the NFL level.
