Brian Robinson Jr. took over as Alabama’s primary running back in 2021 after Najee Harris went to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Round 1 of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Now, Robinson is the one going through the pre-draft process, and he’ll try to improve his stock ahead of the draft in April.

During his media availability at the Senior Bowl this week, Robinson shared some of the advice Harris gave him about the draft process and his future NFL career (via The Tuscaloosa News):

“I’ve been preparing myself for this all this time; that’s kind of what he was telling me,” Robinson told The Tuscaloosa News. “Be myself, and continue to get better. I don’t have to do anything extraordinary to just go out and try to be productive for the team.”

Robinson isn’t likely to be a first-round pick like Harris was a year ago, but he will likely hear his name called in the middle rounds of the draft.

We’ll see where he ends up and what kind of performance he puts together at the Senior Bowl, the NFL Combine and beyond.
