Brian Robinson Jr. was shot twice in his right leg in late August.

On Oct. 13, he scored his first NFL touchdown for the Washington Commanders.

Robinson started for the Commanders in their game against the Chicago Bears on Thursday Night Football. And with 7 minutes, 21 seconds remaining in the 4th quarter, he punched it in from a yard out to make it a 12-7 Washington lead.

That was the eventual game-winning score as the Commanders held on to improve to 2-4 on the season. Robinson ended the night with 17 carries for 60 yards.

What an incredible moment for the rookie and former star at Alabama. While much was made about the lack of scoring and excitement value throughout the evening, Robinson’s touchdown will stand as one of the most emotional moments of the 2022 NFL season.

Here’s hoping it’s the first of many for Robinson throughout his professional career.
