Bryce Young’s latest NIL deal has him making some digital history. The Alabama quarterback is set to be the first college athlete to launch an NFT project.

With art by Arturo Torres, 3,626 pieces will be available on Aug. 31st.
The NFTs will also serve as tokens, with the potential to earn:

An NFT (non-fungible token) is defined as “a unique digital identifier that cannot be copied, substituted, or subdivided, that is recorded in a blockchain, and that is used to certify authenticity and ownership (as of a specific digital asset and specific rights relating to it).”
“I’m excited to dive into this project and use this amazing technology to engage directly with college football fans,” Young said in a release, per BamaOnLine. “Partnering with Arturo Torres to create exceptional artwork and having the opportunity to build connections and unique experiences for my community means a lot to me. This can be the best way to engage with supporters in the future.
