Cadillac Williams and Auburn will honor the team’s seniors this week when they take on Western Kentucky.

On the SEC coaches media teleconference, Auburn’s interim coach said the seniors have been through a lot and he’s excited to send those guys off in the right way.

About the Hilltoppers’ offense, Williams said, “Honestly, they get the ball out so fast the pass rush definitely is going to be important. But I think what’s most important is we’ve got to rally to the football. We’ve got to fly around. … We’ve got to play sound football on the defensive end.”

Auburn is 4-6, and WKU is 7-4 ahead of the 4 p.m. ET game set for the SEC Network.

The Hilltoppers have been known to win on the road in the SEC.

Saturday’s contest at Auburn will mark the first time WKU has played a November nonconference game since 2019 when the Tops traveled to Arkansas and won, 45-19.

On defense, WKU leads college football in forced turnovers (30), defensive touchdowns (6) and interceptions (17).
