Calvin Ridley wasted no time scoring a touchdown in his first NFL game since 2021. The former Alabama standout gave the Jacksonville Jaguars an early lead over the Indianapolis Colts.
On 3rd-and-8 in the red zone, Trevor Lawrence found Ridley for a 9-yard touchdown pass.

Ridley last played in an NFL game on Oct. 24, 2021. He had 4 catches for 26 yards and a touchdown in the game.
On Oct. 31, Ridley announced that he was stepping away from football for mental health reasons. He did not make another appearance during the 2021 season.
The NFL announced in March 2022 that Ridley would be suspended for the following season for betting on games, including those involving the Falcons. He forfeited $11 million in base salary for the season. While suspended, Jacksonville acquired Ridley in a trade with the Falcons.
Ridley is off to a hot start in his Jaguars debut. In the 2nd quarter, Ridley already has 5 catches for 55 yards and the touchdown.
