Cam Coleman reportedly lines up 5 transfer visits, including 3 to SEC programs
Cam Coleman is the most sought after player in the transfer portal right now, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings, and the now former Auburn star wide receiver appears to have his suitors all lined up for the next few weeks.
Coleman will make visits to SEC rivals Texas and Texas A&M this week, followed by visits to Alabama, USC and Texas Tech the following week, according to a report by ESPN’s Pete Thamel on Friday night.
Thamel’s report comes on the heels of an On3 report earlier on Friday that Alabama had joined the list of programs who were going after Coleman. With Thamel’s report, Coleman seems to have his 5 present suitors in the proper line for his services in 2026.
Coleman bolted from Auburn after this season following 2 years on the Plains, not wanting to stick around for the start of the Alex Golesh era. He was a bright spot during an otherwise forgettable season for Auburn, catching 56 passes for 708 yards and 5 touchdowns in 2025.
His freshman season wasn’t too bad either in 2024, with Coleman putting up 37 catches for 598 yards and 8 touchdowns for the Tigers.
But the Alabama native is moving on from the Plains in 2026, perhaps landing at Auburn’s most bitter rival for next season and perhaps ending up at another SEC program. Wherever Coleman ultimately ends up, his next couple of weeks will be eventful, according to Thamel’s report.
