This certainly is an interesting way to celebrate a birthday. Trendsetter Cam Newton released his own music video on Instagram to ring in his birthday. The former Auburn Heisman Trophy winner turned 28 Thursday.
While the idea is unique, the former NFL MVP may not want to rush into a rap career just yet. Check out the video and judge for yourself.
Following his MVP campaign, Newton suffered through a tough 2016 NFL season after leading Carolina to the Super Bowl in 2015. He completed only 52.9 percent of his passes and threw 14 interceptions to only 19 touchdowns. His five rushing touchdowns also tied a career-worst and his 359 rushing yards were the lowest of his NFL career.
