After being carted off, South Carolina WR Terry Googer is heading back to Kyle Field
South Carolina already lost a major contributor to its receiving corps when wide receiver Deebo Samuel broke a bone in his foot against Kentucky earlier in the season.
Now, the same position group looks to have lost more depth. Saturday night, Terry Googer was injured against Texas A&M and taken off on a medical cart to a hospital. It was a scary situation for those who were watching.
Luckily, South Carolina coach Will Muschamp gave some good news on his status at halftime.
“He took a pretty good shot,” coach Will Muschamp said on SEC Network at halftime. “He’s going to be fine. He’s fine at the hospital.”
Googer’s status has been updated once again.
Update: Terry Googer has been cleared from the hospital & is on his way back to Kyle Field. Continued thoughts & prayers, #GamecockNation
