Nick Chubb might be able to run for public office in the state of Georgia.
That’s not in the former Georgia tailback’s immediate future (he’s going to go the NFL route, instead), but his presence in Atlanta on Thursday speaks to how decorated of a college career he had.
Chubb got the honor of delivering the annual “Play Ball!” message to kick off the Atlanta Braves’ season on Thursday at SunTrust Park.

That’s a pretty sweet Dale Murphy throwback that Chubb is rocking. Soon, you can bet Georgia fans will get their hands on Chubb’s NFL jersey.
Perhaps with Chubb’s touch, the Braves will embark on a Georgia-like season and take over the National League.
