CJ Carr may have been inadvertently tipping Notre Dame’s play calls vs. Texas A&M, per report

CJ Carr has done a lot of good things for Notre Dame in his first two career starts, but the Fighting Irish fell to 0-2 after losing to Texas A&M, 41-40, on Saturday night.
He finished the game 20-of-32 for 293 yards and one touchdown, but he also threw an interception. However, Pete Sampson of The Athletic reported there were “rumblings” that Carr was tipping the Aggies defense off on what they were running.
According to Sampson, Carr’s pre-snap stance indicated whether Notre Dame was going to run or pass:
Both of Notre Dame’s losses have been in incredibly close games, as they have lost both games by a combined four points. With that type of margin for error, then Carr has to be able to do a better job of disguising what play Notre Dame is going to run.
Notre Dame will be back in action next week at home against Purdue.
